Du befindest Dich in der Endphase Deines Studiums, möchtest in einem dynamischen Umfeld arbeiten, eigene Ideen einbringen und echte Praxiserfahrung sammeln? Dann bist Du im Young Talents Hub genau richtig! Wir von Duisburg Business & Innovation (DBI) gestalten die Wirtschaftsentwicklung von morgen – digital, international und nachhaltig. In unseren interdisziplinären HUBs arbeiten wir zum Beispiel an Projekten die neue Arbeitsplätze schaffen, eine Kreislaufwirtschaft etablieren, Start-ups bei ihrem Wachstum unterstützen, Unternehmen vernetzen und Duisburg international sichtbar machen.

Im Young Talents HUB – unsere interne Nachwuchskräfteförderung – wirst Du Teil unseres Teams, das Zukunftsthemen aufgreift und innovative Lösungen entwickelt. Ab September 2025 startet unser nächster 1-Year-Track für Student:innen im letzten Studienjahr vor der Abschlussarbeit. Entlang eines strukturierter Entwicklungsweges erhältst Du Einblicke in verschiedene Bereiche einer Wirtschaftsförderung, arbeitest an echten Projekten und entwickelst Perspektiven für Deinen Berufseinstieg.

Das erwartet Dich:

Deep Dive & Orientierung – In der Startphase lernst Du die verschiedenen HUBs kennen und erhältst Einblicke in unsere Strukturen.
In der anschließenden Projektphase arbeitest Du aktiv in einem bestehenden HUB-Projekt mit oder hast die Chance Dein eigenes kleines Projekt zu entwickeln und umzusetzen. Dabei wendest Du Methoden aus dem Projektmanagement an und erhältst thematische Impulse für Deine Abschlussarbeit.
Abschließend analysierst Du die Projektfortschritte, stellst dem DBI-Team Deine Ergebnisse vor und fokussierst Dich auf die Finalisierung Deiner Abschlussarbeit.
Du sammelst fachliche Erfahrung und entwickelst gleichzeitig wichtige berufliche Fähigkeiten, wie professionelle Kommunikation mit unterschiedlichen Akteur:innen, strukturiertes Arbeiten und Präsentationstechniken, weiter.

As part of the Young Talents HUB, our internal development program, you will work on real projects that contribute to Duisburg’s economic strength and international visibility. Starting September 2025, we are launching our 1-Year Track for students in their final year of study before completing their thesis. This structured program provides you with deep insights into economic development, lets you contribute to real projects, and helps you shape your personal career path.

What to expect:

In the initial phase, you'll explore the different HUBs at DBI and gain insights into our structures, workflows, and areas of focus.
You'll actively support an existing HUB project or get the opportunity to develop your own small-scale project. You’ll apply project management methods and gather ideas for your thesis along the way.
You'll share your project results with the DBI team, focus on finalizing your thesis.
In addition to building subject-specific knowledge, but also build essential career skills like structured working, presenting, stakeholder communication, coordination, and project management techniques.

Das sind deine Aufgaben:

Ob bei der Organisation von Veranstaltungen, im Unternehmensservice oder in der Projektentwicklung. Gemeinsam mit den anderen Young Talents unterstützt Du die HUBs der Duisburg Business & Innovation bei der Umsetzung von Projekten rund um die Wirtschaftsförderung.
Du unterstützt uns dabei auch komplexere Projekte zielgerichtet auf- und umzusetzen. Dafür bist Du aktiv am Projektmanagement beteiligt, behältst Projektmeilensteine im Blick, führst Recherchen und erste Analysen durch und bereitest Ergebnisse auf.
Du bist in die Vorbereitung, Durchführung und Nachbereitung von internen und externen Veranstaltungen und Events eingebunden.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in project management and support DBI’s HUBs in executing economic development initiatives.
Conduct market research and data analysis, translating findings into actionable insights.
Prepare presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of business events and networking formats.

Das bringst Du mit:

Du befindest Dich im fortgeschritten Stadium Deines Studiums, z. B. in Wirtschafts-, Sozial- oder Geisteswissenschaften oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung.
Du arbeitest strukturiert, verantwortungsbewusst und lösungsorientiert.
Du bist tech-affin und kannst Dich schnell in neue Themen einarbeiten.
Der Young Talents HUB ist international ausgerichtet und kommuniziert sowohl auf Englisch als auch auf Deutsch. Du kannst Dich daher sicher auf Deutsch und Englisch mit Deinen Kolleg:innen verständigen.
Du gehst souverän mit den gängigen Microsoft-Office-Anwendungen um.
Als Teamplayer:in bist Du motiviert, gemeinsam mit Deinen internationalen Kolleg:innen Projekte voranzutreiben.

YOUR PROFILE:

You are in the final stages of your studies in Business, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related field.
You enjoy working in a structured and responsible way and are focused on solutions.
You are fluent in English (written and verbal) and can communicate professionally.
You are tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital tools and Microsoft Office.
You’re a team player, motivated to drive forward projects with your international peers.
